Script from the mathematics block
The cursive alphabet here is Unicode's mathematical script, encoded so mathematicians could write a script L for the Lagrangian and have it mean something different from an ordinary L. It happens to look like elegant handwriting, which is why it ended up decorating usernames instead.
Bold script is a separate alphabet again, heavier and rounder. Both are complete for A-Z, though neither covers digits — numbers stay as they are.
The letters that come from somewhere else
A few script letters — B, E, F, H, I, L, M, R and lowercase e, g, o — were already encoded years earlier in the Letterlike Symbols block, so Unicode left holes where they would have gone. A generator that ignores this produces blanks for those letters. This one substitutes the correct earlier characters, which is why the alphabet comes out complete.
